Kathryn (Katie) Zellers is the Director of Apostles Community Preschool. Katie is a graduate of Kutztown University with a B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She earned her M.S. in Language and Literacy from Millersville University. She also has a Reading Specialist and ESL (English as a Second Language) certification from Millersville. Mrs. Zellers taught first grade at Ross Elementary School in the School District of Lancaster for 12 years. One of her daughters is a graduate of ACP, while the other is currently enrolled. Her family attends LCBC – Lancaster Campus.
Linda received her B.S. degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State, and Reading Specialist certification from Millersville University. She and husband are parents of two adult children, both of whom are Apostles Community Preschool graduates. Linda is a member of Church of Apostles where she is on the Church Council and plays in the handbell choir.

Yellow Bear Teacher
Megan earned her B.S. from Villanova University and her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She taught in public schools in grades K–4 for five years prior to joining the team at Apostles Community Preschool. Her two children are graduates of ACP, and her family attends Sacred Heart Church.

Ashley earned a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from West Liberty University in West Virginia. Both her son and daughter graduated from Apostles Community Preschool. When her children attended ACP, Ashley was an active member of Parent Council and instrumental in fundraising for our current playground. Ashley is currently an active hockey mom and involved in her children’s PTO.

Heather received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree, specializing in School Counseling, both from Millersville University. She taught in the Central York School District until she and her husband had children. Both their son and daughter attended and loved Apostles Preschool.

Cammie Camens earned a B.S. degree in Business and Sociology from Beaver College. Her two children are Apostles Preschool graduates, and Cammie served on Parent Council while they were here. She attends Highland Presbyterian Church where she teaches Sunday School.

Orange Bear Teacher
Katie graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduation she was a director and teacher at Tender Love and Care in Harrisburg. Katie also taught Title I Reading for two years and second grade for six years at Pequea Valley School District. During that time she was named a Commended First Year Teacher for the state of Pennsylvania and recommended for the Sallie Mae First Year Teacher Award. Katie’s youngest daughter is an Apostles alum. Her family attends Zion Lutheran Church where Katie is a Bible School leader.

Karen earned a B.S. degree in Sports Management with a Minor in Management from Old Dominion University. Karen and her husband have two children, both of whom attended Apostles Community Preschool. Their family attends Manor Church.

Michelle “Mikki” DiDomenico Reich holds a Master’s in Elementary Education with a certificate in Early Education as well a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education, all from Millersville University. Prior to joining the staff at Apostles Community Preschool, Michelle worked at a child-care center as well as a public school for five years. She is a Sunday School teacher at Church of Apostles. She and her husband have three children, all of whom have attended or are currently enrolled at ACP. Michelle herself is an alumnus of Apostles Preschool with lots of preschool memories. “I look forward to creating life-long memories for all of your children as well.”

Mindy holds a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of Scranton. She attends LCBC (Manheim) where she serves in the Kid Ministry Program. She is the mother of three sons, two of whom graduated from ACP.

Angela has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Montgomery County Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Millersville University in Elementary Education. She is the mother of four boys, all of whom have attended Apostles Preschool.

Carol grew up on a farm in Bedford, PA with nine siblings. She completed certification at LGH School of Nursing as an EMT. She is a member of the West Hempfield Fire and Rescue Company and is an active Emergency Medical Technician. Carol and her husband are the parents of three adult children. She attends Mary Mother of Church, Mt. Joy.
“The children at ACP are wonderful. I feel very blessed being part of the children’s early education. Seeing the joy on their faces as they accomplish tasks of building a tower with Legos, painting a picture, or completing a puzzle is very fulfilling as a teacher.”

Deborah graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in English, and from Mary Washington University with a Master’s in Elementary Education. She previously taught kindergarten in Richmond, VA, and was a children’s librarian at Elanco Library in New Holland. Deborah is a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church. She and her husband are the parents of three children.

Jeannie attended Kutztown University and majored in Special Education/Elementary Education. Since then, she has worked as a Kindergarten Para-Educator at Hamilton Elementary School and as a Camp Counselor at Camp Schreiber, through Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center, and at Aaron’s Acres. She is a member of Church of Apostles, where she is on the Church Council and Education Commission. She is mom to three sons – one is an ACP graduate, one is a current student, and the youngest will attend as soon as he is old enough!

Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree from Millersville University. After that, she taught preschool and worked as a case manager for children with disabilities. She also spent several years running a program for mothers of preschoolers through a church. Melissa and her husband are parents of three boys, two of whom attended ACP. Melissa is a member of the Church of the Apostles and loves all the children’s programs the church has to offer. She is involved in the “Ministry to Others” group.

Molly is graduate of Lancaster School of Cosmetology. She has worked as a barber, as well as in the toddler room of Learning Ladder Child Care Center. She and her husband have 3 children. Molly attends Sacred Heart Church.

Stephanie graduated from Millersville University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. Prior to teaching at ACP, she taught at Penn Manor High School for 8 years as a Learning Support Teacher. She is a member of Church of the Apostles where she teaches Sunday School and is active in various children’s ministries. She and her husband have two sons, both of whom are ACP graduates.

Karen is a graduate of Millersville University, with a B.S. in Communications and minor in English. She and her husband are the parents of two children, both of whom attended Apostles Community Preschool. Ms. Youtz was an active member of the ACP Parent Council. She attends Church of the Apostles, where she teaches Sunday School and helps with Vacation Bible School.
