Maggie Biggs

Maggie Biggs is the Director of Apostles Community Preschool.  Maggie is a graduate of James Madison University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and Early Childhood Education.  Mrs. Biggs taught first and second grade at Brownstown Elementary (Conestoga Valley SD) and third grade at Fairfax County Public Schools (Virginia).  She and her husband are parents to four young boys (two of whom were former ACP students; one a future student).  Mrs. Biggs is also an ACP alum! Maggie is an active parishioner of St. Leo the Great Church and is a third grade catechist in the Parish School of Religion.

Jeannie Clausen

Jeannie has studied Elementary Education and Special Education at both Kutztown and Millersville Universities. She worked as a Kindergarten Paraeducator in School District of Lancaster for 3 years before becoming a full time stay at home mom. All 3 of her sons have graduated from ACP. Jeannie is a member of Church of the Apostles and has been active in many aspects of the church.

Yellow Bear Teacher

Megan earned her B.S. from Villanova University and her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania.  She taught in public schools in grades K–4 for five years prior to joining the team at Apostles Community Preschool.  Her two children are graduates of ACP, and her family attends Sacred Heart Church.

Ashley Bole

Yellow Bear Assistant

Ashley earned a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from West Liberty University in West Virginia.  Both her son and daughter graduated from Apostles Community Preschool.  When her children attended ACP, Ashley was an active member of Parent Council and instrumental in fundraising for our current playground.  Ashley is currently an active hockey mom and involved in her children’s PTO.

Katie Calderone

Blue Bear Teacher

Katie graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  After graduation she was a director and teacher at Tender Love and Care in Harrisburg.  Katie also taught Title I Reading for two years and second grade for six years at Pequea Valley School District.  During that time she was named a Commended First Year Teacher for the state of Pennsylvania and recommended for the Sallie Mae First Year Teacher Award.  Katie’s youngest daughter is an Apostles alum.  Her family attends Zion Lutheran Church where Katie is a Bible School leader.

Andrea Pagliai

Blue Bear Assistant

Andrea studied General Education at Harrisburg Area Community College, and earned a Certificate in Esthetics from Lancaster School of Cosmetology. She has been the Administrative Assistant for her finance’s construction business for the past five years allowing her to be a stay at home mother and focus on her two amazing children, Hayden and Airyana. Andrea managed a tanning salon, worked in the retail and beauty industry, prep cooked and served food to staff and patients at Women and Babies Hospital, and worked as a Med Tech for a twelve bed assisted living facility prior to working from home. Her youngest graduated from ACP last year and will be starting kindergarten this year. After her daughter’s wonderful experience at Apostles, and Andrea being involved in class projects and parties, she knew she wanted to do this as a career and decided to join the Apostles team and keep the fun of learning and creativity going!

Tapley Ann Paxson

Blue Bear Teacher

Tapley-Ann received a B.A. in Psychology and completed an Elementary Education program at Muhlenberg College.  Her previous teaching experiences include; Eagle Hill School in Greenwich, Connecticut where she taught 3-5th grade students and The Janus School in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; both schools specializing in educating children with learning differences.  Tapley-Ann has spent a great deal of time in the classroom at Apostles Community Preschool as both a Substitute Teacher and Aide. She and her husband are parents to three children. Tapley-Ann’s youngest daughter is an ACP alum as well as her husband. Her son is currently enrolled at the school. Tapley-Ann is a member of St. Leo the Great where her two daughters attend school.

 

Jessica Pavelko

Blue Bear Assistant

Jessica earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Messiah University.  She operated her own business over the years and served the Lancaster community in a number of capacities through a number of Boards and committees.  Both of her children, Olivia (12) and Isaac (9) graduated from Apostles Community Preschool.  After COVID, Jessica homeschooled her son and daughter for one year and her daughter for an additional year.  During that time she also started serving as the troop leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.  Through these combined experiences she decided she wanted to venture into education, specifically at ACP because of her fond memories of the preschool.  Jessica and her family are members of Community Fellowship Church in Lancaster, PA.

Michelle Reich

Orange Bear Teacher

Michelle DiDomenico Reich holds a Master’s in Elementary Education with a certificate in Early Education as well a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education, all from Millersville University.  Prior to joining the staff at Apostles Community Preschool, Michelle worked at a child-care center as well as a public school for five years.   She and her husband have four children, all of whom have attended or are currently enrolled at ACP.   Michelle herself is an alumnus of Apostles Preschool with lots of preschool memories. Michelle is a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church.

Cammie Camens

Orange Bear Assistant

Cammie Camens earned a B.S. degree in Business and Sociology from Beaver College.  Her two children are Apostles Preschool graduates, and Cammie served on Parent Council while they were here.  She attends Highland Presbyterian Church where she teaches Sunday School.

Janelle Sebergandio

Green Bear Teacher

Janelle is a graduate of HACC with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked in child care with 2 year olds for 8 years before becoming a stay at home Mom. She and her husband have 3 children. All of her children attended ACP where she was involved with the Parent Council. Janelle is also an Alum of Apostles Preschool. She is a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Hannah Royer

Green Bear Assistant

Hannah has her B.A. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Washington & Jefferson College. She worked as a youth mentor and alternative education assistant at a center for youth at risk, an outreach educator with the Philadelphia Zoo, and a water quality chemist before becoming a stay at home mom. She has also been the Wacky Wednesday coordinator at Church of the Apostles the past several summers. Hannah’s husband and their two children are ACP Alums. She loved the experiences her children had at  ACP and decided to help as a substitute after they were both attending school full time. She is very excited to officially join ACP as an assistant and help the current preschool children have a fun learning experience!

Deborah Franck

Red Bear Teacher

Deborah graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in English, and from Mary Washington University with a Master’s in Elementary Education.  She previously taught kindergarten in Richmond, VA, and was a children’s librarian at Elanco Library in New Holland.  Deborah is a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church.  She and her husband are the parents of three children.

Karen Youtz

Red Bear Assistant

Karen is a graduate of Millersville University, with a B.S. in Communications and minor in English.  She and her husband are the parents of two children, both of whom attended Apostles Community Preschool.  Ms. Youtz was an active member of the ACP Parent Council.  She attends Church of the Apostles, where she teaches Sunday School and helps with Vacation Bible School.

Jill Raspanti

Jill graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Her children attended ACP and she was an active member of Parent Council and a sub while they were here. Jill has been a stay at home mom and is excited to join the team and remain part of the ACP family.

Stephanie Moore

Purple Bear Teacher

Stephanie graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. in Special Education. Before teaching at ACP, Stephanie taught learning support in the 9-12th grade setting. Stephanie attends Church of the Apostles, where she and her family are active participants in many activities. Both of Stephanie’s children are graduates of Apostles Community Preschool.

Christina Frey

Purple Bear Assistant

Christina is thrilled to be joining the ACP staff after being a stay-at-home mom for the past 11 years. She and her husband have three children, all of whom are graduates of ACP. While her children attended ACP, Christina was heavily involved in the preschool, serving as Parent Council co-president, volunteering for various preschool events, and working as a substitute teacher and summer camp assistant. She is also an active volunteer at her children’s elementary school, working in the classrooms alongside the teachers and as the PTO secretary. She is excited to work with many of the littlest preschoolers here at ACP and to continue to work alongside the amazing staff at the school!

Katie Enoch

Katie is a graduate of Millersville University, with a B.S. in Business, concentration in Accounting. Prior to
becoming a full time stay at home mom, she worked as an auditor and a tax analyst for ten years. She
and her husband are parents to three children, two of whom have attended ACP and one who is
currently enrolled at ACP. She attends LCBC Manheim, and has served as a volunteer with the 3-5 year
olds, and currently volunteers with K-4 th graders. Her family has had an amazing experience at ACP, and
Katie is excited about joining the staff and giving other children the same experience.
